Fibonacci Sequence Meets M.C. Escher is a black and white art style illustration that represents two famous and celebrated figures. M.C. Escher, known as Maurits Cornelis Escher, was a Dutch born graphic artist known for his mathematically inspired and visually fascinating art works. He is most know for his mind bending drawings of impossible structures, optical illusions and intricate patterns.
Escher's art has had profound influence on mathematics, art and popular culture and he remains one of the most celebrated artists of the 20th century. The Fibonacci Sequence named after Leonardo of Pisa, was an Italian mathematician and popularized the Arabic-Hindu numeric system. The sequence of numbers known as the Fibonacci Sequence has mathematical applications in nature and art as well as various natural phenomena, such as the spiral pattern of a pine cone, the branching of trees or the arrangement of leaves on a stem.
The Fibonacci sequence is closely related to the golden ratio, a mathematical proportion that is considered aesthetically pleasing and is often used in art and design. Here we've combined the Fibonacci Sequence over a staircase in the style of Escher to create this a one of a kind art.
The woman's softstyle tee is a more feminine take on the classic tee. The sleeves are shortened to reveal some shoulder. The fabric is 100% ringspun cotton for all solid colors. The shoulders are taped with twill to prolong durability. The collar seam is reinforced with ribbed knitting.
