The Great Bunny Wave ~ Women's Soft Style Tee

The Great Bunny Wave is an artistic tribute to the original classic "The Great Wave of Kanagawa" a famous woodblock style of art created by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai in the early 18th century, around 1830-1832. It is part of a series of woodblock prints called "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji" The great wave depicts a powerful tsunami wave towering over fishing boats with Mount Fuji in the background. The art is renowned for its dramatic composition, bold use of colors and intricate detail.

The Great Wave is considered one of the most iconic images in Japanese art, making it one of the most recognizable and celebrated artworks in the world. In this piece we have changed it up a bit to create a softer expression in the style of the powerful waves, to include tiny, cute, little bunnies as the sea foam and waves. It mixes it up to create a unique and beautiful effect with bold colors and textures. 

The woman's softstyle tee is a more feminine take on the classic tee. The sleeves are shortened to reveal some shoulder. The fabric is 100% ringspun cotton for all solid colors. The shoulders are taped with twill to prolong durability. The collar seam is reinforced with ribbed knitting.
